Jacques Archambault PhD

Dr. Archambault is a professor in the department of Microbiology and Immunology at McGill University since August 2016. Prior to joining McGill, Dr. Archambault was the director of the molecular virology laboratory at the Institut de recherches cliniques de Montreal (IRCM) from 2003-2016, and former coordinator of the HPV and HIV research programs at Boehringer Ingelheim from 1996-2003. Dr. Archambault obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto in the field of yeast genetics under the supervision of Dr. James D. Friesen and then pursued postdoctoral studies on RNA polymerase II transcription at the same university, in the laboratory of Dr. Jack Greenblatt at the Banting and Best Department of Medical Research.
